The Ping Pong game or Table Tennis was originated in 1800s in Britain and played by the upper class people. It was known by the name “Wiff Waff”. In 1901, the name “Ping Pong” was trademarked by the manufacturers J. Jaques and Sons Ltd. In 1901, celluloid balls were invented by James Gibb and modern rackets were invented by E. C. Goode. In 1926, the International Table Tennis Federation was founded.
