On 5th September 1855, Sylvanus F. Bowser invented and sold the first gasoline pump in Fort Wayne in Indiana. It is used to pump fuels such as diesel, ethanol fuels, biofuels, gasoline, CNG, LPG, HCNG, LH2 and CGH2 into vehicles. It is also called fuel dispencers, Gas Pumps in North America, Bowsers in Australia as and Petrol Pumps in Commonwealth countries.
