The Hungarian British physicist, Dennis Gabo invented holography in 1947 and in 1971.He received Nobel Prize in Physics for his work. In 1962, Yuri Denisyuk in the Soviet Union and Emmett Leith and Juris Upatnieks at the University of Michigan in the United States made the first practical optical holograms that recorded 3D objects.
